Your closest tube station is Aldgate East which is 0.2 miles South-West which can be walked in under a minute. We are also within easy reach on foot of The Royal London Hospital on Whitechapel Road. Tower Gateway DLR station is easy to get to, start at Aldgate East on Circle or District lines getting off at Tower Hill and then a short walk to the station itself. So you can in fact get to all of London easily from here.

Rooms here are spacious, quiet and comfortable, which is a bonus when you are staying in a London hotel. Spend as many nights as you require in well appointed ensuite rooms that are tastefully decorated. They also have all the modern day amenities you will require for a very good night's sleep and a peaceful place to work and unwind. Good stuff: Room nice, large, clean. Friendly staff. Nearby subway station. Very good restaurant.

Bad stuff: No mentioning of location room above hotelbar: very loud music in the evenings, especially weekend.

Overall: We got a great room for a cheaper price. But they did'nt mention the location (see above), otherwise we would have preferred a smaller room. Also very annoying sounds of pipes in the ceiling , like rain dripping on a tin roof. Earplugs can help. Very nice food in the restaurant. Very friendly staff, but after checkout, at the moment of luggage retrieval, a surprisingly different attitude. Overall, if you get a cheaper price than the rack rate, or if you can afford it, it's a great place to stay.

Good stuff: The bed was comfortable, the pillow was just right as I suffer with a bad neck. Good distance to our venues. We could park up and walk to the culture and mix centre.

Bad stuff: No remote control for the telly, the one they sent didn't work. The bath was blocked water took for ever to go down. Friday night was very noisy as there was a disco on until 3am. Saturday night street was just generally noisy people fighting. Brick Lane very untidy. They sent us a broken ironing board(which should have been binned). We had to phone numerous of times to have it replaced. Also the room was very hot couldn't leave the windows open because of noise.

Overall: ok
